Do you need to excel in your work despite the prevalent culture of fear? Would you like more effective conversations?

When we are uncomfortable or challenged our natural response is to constrict our bodies and contract our attention. However, this creates strain and fatigue, and prevents productive action. By opening and balancing breathing, awareness, and movement one can develop a “centred” state combing relaxation and alertness, care and efficiency. This foundation for handling life’s challenges effectively is Being In Movement®

Thriving Under Pressure – 6th June

The first workshop will teach the essentials of body awareness and centring to enable you to handle the stresses of uncertain times with ease. It will help you live with tenacity and resilience whatever the pressure. Benefits include:

– Improved work performance
– Increased ability to maintain concentration under pressure
– The ability to be creative, resourceful and resilient in tough times
– Better stress management (e.g. with working to deadlines, managing multiple commitments or – public speaking)
– Improved health and ease in physical exercise
– More comfortable efficient computer use

Supporting Challenging Conversations – 7th June

Building on the first, the second day will benefit professionals such HR personnel, senior managers, trainers, coaches, therapists, lawyers, teachers, mediators, as well as parents and others involved in challenging conversations in daily life.

You will have the opportunity to practice using a centred state to help with scenarios that are personally relevant. The training will help with professional challenges such as:

· Leadership
· Building and repairing trust
· Appraisals
· Listening to challenging clients and colleagues
· Managing employee poor performance and issuing dismissals
· Anxiety provoking situations such as giving testimony in court, job interviews or training challenging groups

– As well as with relationship difficulties and family matters

Language is more often than not how we take action. Whomever you talk with, you can do it more easily, comfortably and effectively.

What the Workshops Will Involve

“Paul’s rigorous no nonsense approach involves asking questions and then inviting participants to prove for themselves what works and what doesn’t in a logical manner. Workshops are highly experiential and consist of solo, partnered and group work involving non athletic body movement, adjustments to posture, attention and breathing. Paul’s also brings a sense of care and lightness to his work, which makes them a lot of fun. The main reason however I’ve invited him to the UK is that his work is practical and will really benefit people working here.”
– Mark Walsh, Integration Training

Being In Movement on YouTube

………………………………………..

Paul Linden, Phd

Paul Linden is a world leader in embodied training, having been active in the field for 40 years.
