Connection Workshop

After the fun we had with Embodied Peacebuilding (pictured), I’ve decided to put on another public workshop. This time the topic’s connection, here’s the blurb:

…………………………………………………………………..

Connection Workshop – For couples, friends and individuals

Learn to better connect and relate with others for a more enjoyable, productive and harmonious life

This workshop will explore how we make contact, keep connection and develop relationships with others, through partnered exercises, games and movement. It will be great for people who wish to deepen an existing friendship or learn how to better connect with people in general. You will explore how you are in relation to others when the going gets tough, make a bunch of friends and gain tools you can use day to day to bridge the gaps.

Expect a lively interactive day with gentle physical exercises, cooperative games, as well as a little art therapy and deep listening. The day will end with a form of freeform play, which leads to wonderful connection and is more fun that I can describe.

September 7th 2-6pm
Ki Centre, Queens Square, Brighton

(near the clock tower, by the old ice rink, central Brighton)

£25 (£20 concessions) £40 couples
Payment in advance

The afternoon will be facilitated by Mark Walsh who has a background in psychology, aikido, non-violent communication, somatics (the study of the conscious body) and outdoor education. He works in corporate training and leads “Holistics” exercise classes. His girlfriend Sasha will be on hand to make sure he doesn’t talk too much nonsense about relationships.
