Not your average aikido seminar!
The photo is from an aikido seminar lead by Miles Kessler and Patrick Cassidy, by the Dead Sea with training in a Bedouin tent. (Also available in Swiss mountain colours in May). Both Israelis and Palestinians were at the seminar.
Miles is also not your average instructor – he is one of the few people I know who can do both solid traditional, and free-flowing aikido. He also has a background in meditation and integral theory which lends an original flavour to his teaching.
He’ll be the only aikido instructor I’ll be leaving the UK for in 2008.
