There’s an interesting blog entry here about ways to look at things – life lenses if you will:
Reverse lens: “What would the other person in this conflict say, and how might he be right?”
Long lens: “How will I likely view this situation in six months?”
Wide lens: “How can I grow and learn from this situation?”
The blog is by some people who inspired me and have been working in the field of applied aikido principles for some time. Apparently this blog was a stimulus for them starting blogging themselves, so it’s nice to see how these things work both ways. I hope to have Judy Warner as a guest writer here in the near future.
