Really enjoyed the video – some great tips and advice. It’s very true to think of confidence as an appearance, rather than a feeling, and as such can be learned and developed through training.
Really agree with the above point, by practicing confidence and taking charge, using the techniques mentioned and actively putting yourself in situations that require confidence, the skills will become more innate.

One thing we do to foster more confident employees is to break into small groups every so often, and appoint different leaders to each of these small groups to help their group overcome a theoretical challenge presented to them. We find that when someone has an opportunity to lead, whether in a real or theoretical situation, they tend to embrace the opportunity since it gives them a sense of responsibility and belonging.
We’ve been told that many people feel more involved in their group as a whole with this method, and in turn, improved confidence is a natural consequence.
