Some great pictures from an Embodied Yoga Principles workshop in Moscow. Yoga with an emphasis on self-knowledge and transfer to life (not body-beautiful athleticism or hindu mythology). Where else do you find postural yoga used to explore competition, surrender, relationship, criticism, shadow, pleasure, being silly/play, leadership, parenting, etc? Someone described this as a “reboot” to yoga, and it certainly brings in some of the things modern postural yoga is lacking other arts have. That’s gonna offend some yoga people but trust me, you don’t already do this. Thanks to all those involved, especially Vidyadasa Ady Griffiths working on the new website today and Carl Faure who is hosting teacher training next year.
